After running in the same pair of sunglasses since 7th grade (my whole running career, actually), I think they finally have one crack too many.
When I think about all the races I ran with those sunglasses on, and all the beautiful trails I ran on, I actually get a little sentimental.  A fair proportion of the light coming into my eyes has passed through those lenses, certainly some of the most memorable.
I have other sunglasses, but it just won’t be the same without my 7th grade Oakley Minutes.  These are not going in the garbage, but have rather earned a spot next to all the medals, bib numbers, and spikes I keep around.  Of any other bit of memorabilia, these sunglasses have been with me through the most of it.
