57-55-54-53-52-52-51-50 aren’t bad splits for some 300s - at least they were going in the right direction. And the track is pretty much brand new, and it overlooks downtown St. Louis, so I had a nice skyline to look at every time I rounded the back corner.
Now, as part of the “First time on a track in way too long” event, let’s play the “Predict what part of me will be sore tomorrow” game.
My guesses: calves, quads, abs, upper back and shoulders.
